Comment:
2 of these were fitted to the driving wheels of my 500. They are a very good product. A balance has to be struck between safety, quality, wear rate and price. Not working in the tyre industry leaves me with a layman's assessment of the product: You get what you pay for! The question mark at the moment on these Nokian WR D4's is how quickly they will wear down and therefore last, giving me an indication of 'value for money'. I am yet to reach that point! There is the assumption that these tyres will wear out more quickly because they are made from softer rubber than summer tyres. As my car is not a sports car, it is acceptable to me that I use them all year round. Clearly, I know that the harder I accelerate the quicker they will wear out!
