    Comment:
This was my first Midwest winter without an AWD vehicle in several years. I put a set of Hakkapeliitta R2s on an old set of 17 inch ///M3 wheels. After daily driving all winter, including a 12 inch snowstorm, I have to say I am more than impressed. The snow traction was much better than I expected considering they are on a high horsepower RWD car. I never had any fear of being stranded or stuck. In the dry, the power can get the best of the tire and the grip just isn't there, but, it's a winter snow tire and I would expect it to be great. Road noise is minimal and the ride is still comfortable. All around a great tire!
