I suppose that really the comments are about the stupid fitment by Peugeot of what is a high spec car and not for a van. The ruddy things due to poor down force do not grip too well, they are prone to easily spinning, especially on a loose surface, cannot grip on mud. Frankly this is a misplaced sense of use. Even the French Holomogation people mentioned concerns. The tyre wear was phenomanol, well worn at 20,000klms, side walls prone to damage, passed road problems through to cabin, still you could tell if you ran over a matchstick. If you run a light vehicle like our Partner, throw the ruddy wheels and tyres away and fit something like a 15 inch wheel and tyre preferably of commercial type eg GT maxmiler EX and get 4 times the life for less money. Apparently the tyre is because silly people think that they are more sporty. As the footprint has less down force per square inch the cut through on water is poorer, ditto on mud, more likely to spin, less grip. On the correct type of vehicle possibly good, EG large Mercedes, but due to poor wall flex the shoulders get torn off very quickly. To sum up, if you are tearing down a motorway at illegal speeds in a big car then OK, using it on a small vehicle for general use then forget it. The next time my Partner exceeds 100mph will be never except if going over a cliff, the speed of 118 for a GT Maxmiler EX/CX is plenty high enough!
