    Flatspot easily, and then make drumming noises. I chose this tire several times in the past because it was the rebranded version of the Dunlop D40. But this is my last set of Sumitomos due to the flatspotting

    It might be something unique to my car's setup (lowering springs, stiff suspension, bilstein shocks, low profile tires)but every other tire of this size and tread pattern I've tried-goodyear,dunlop,michelin,yokohama-takes a few hundred miles to wear-in and have grip. The Sumitomos hooked-up immediately and handles the same or better, and lots cheaper...I love them.
