Comment:
Fitted these to the rear of my clk daily driver, tyre fitter said he had never had to use as many balancing weights on a tyre, one of them needed 225g of weights where an average tyre needs 20g! They are on the back so I can't really rate them on braking or turn in but on a wet road they don't grip well on acceleration as the traction light flashes way more than on the previous (dunlop) tyres, I read that they rate well for wet handling but they break away much more easily than my worn out old tyres. I cant really notice a difference in either noise or fuel consumption. I regret buying what were the cheapest tyre in the size 255/40 17, but I think there are a wider choice if I went to 245/40 so thats what I'll do if I still own the car next time it needs tyres. In any case I wouldn't recommend these if you drive at all quickly as the road holding is not great and as stated they are so poorly made that the balance is way worse than other tyres. Maybe mine were a poor example but then quality control shouldn't allow sub standard tyres to teach a customer. I guess the obvious conclusion is pay a bit more for a better tyre
