Bought these for a road trip from the UK to the North of Finland in December. The tyres performed well across the whole drive. We had a few spots in 4"+ of fresh powder where the tyres would briefly slip, and once on black ice, but other than that they were great. Only used 1.5mm tread on the whole drive.
