Winter tyres were probably quieter than my summer choice of Pirelli P ZeroNero GT's. Size is staggered, 235/40 18 and 254/35 18. I never had any qualms in standing water or winter conditions with these tyres.

I would like to say that these tyres saved our bacon this winter. We had lots of snow and ice over January and February this year and the tyres never lost an ounce of grip. Even when others were stuck and lost in snow drifts, the Scout got through. I was concerned about the wear of the tyres (bring softer than summet tyres but there was little wear showing on the Winter Tyres). Highly recommended for high speed road driving or off-road snowdrifts!
