    Comment:
I wanted a standard size road tyre with Outside White Lettering (OWL) for a more custom look to replace the near worn original equipment tyres fitted all round on alloys. If possible did not want to compromise roadgoing capabilities. After phoning/visiting tyre fitters and going through every manufacturer website I could find worldwide! with not much choice or luck for OWL in Suzuki Jimny standard size of 205/70 R15 I started to look at A/T tyres with their suggested capabilities and after visiting every manufacturer again I ended up where I started and originally dismissed for not being a big brand name. Some may be surprised. We were pleasantly. The tyres bought and fitted are Marshal (made by Kumho) 825 Roadventure AT. To both me and the wife the car is, touch wood, in our opinion a different car. We have both noticed and commented how better the car feels and handles. We have had to do a couple emergency stops when cars have pulled out and a brake and swerve to avoid a family of ducks when they decided to waddle out from behind a parked car. The car behaved impeccably. The ducks didn't even notice how lucky they were. We dont off road but have driven over short dirt track, wet grass, sand blown tarmac and in the rain without problem. We have not had snow worthy to comment about. The tyres don't look over the top chunky for the road. White lettering side out the tyres look the part and have had admiring comments. If you dont fancy the bling you could always turn them over and have them fitted with the black lettering side out. I have recommended these tyres to Jimny owning family members. Already reasonably priced some dealers will better to get the business. My only advice is check them out for yourself before dismissing them.
