    Comment:
I’ve been using these tyres for a few years now. I’m on my 4th pair. Why change to an unknown when I’m 90% happy with what I already use? In terms of value for money, these tyres can’t be beaten. They’re cheaper than other premium brands AND I get better mileage out of them. On my bike the rear wears out just before the front. There’s not much in it so I always replace front and rear at the same time. The tyres wear evenly across the width, with a barely noticeable right-side bias due to U.K. road camber. Grip, wet or dry, is good but most importantly they just “feel right” all the time. The only negative I can think of is that they slide readily on tar overbanding where a road has been repaired. So I pick my line through corners carefully if there’s any overbanding about. Occasionally I still hit some, but it’s just a short distance slide until the tyre grips again on the road surface. No drama. I’m sure there are better tyres to be had but for a big, heavy bike (and rider!) ridden like I ride these are more than good enough.

    Comment:
The stock fitted tyres were bad for following defects in the road and provided very uncertain grip in the wet. The Avon replacements sorted the handling in the dry and greatly improved confidence in the wet as well. The handling is more responsive and sportier riding is possible. Street twin riders, these tyres are perfect for you.
