I purchased these tires for long life. They are made of very hard rubber. They wear like Iron. The only negative is they tend to pickup rocks and releas them only after reaching 35 to 40 MPH sometimes faster can be dangerous for other cars arround you.

so far I like the tires, they were better than I thought they would be. They seal the bead easy when mounting which I do myself, but the true test is how well they are doing when they are 3/4 the way through thier life cycle.
